Venetian Plastering I, The Basics, 1-day Class
Recommended for those with little or no experience with hawk and trowel applications interested in
learning the basics of this ancient Northern Italian plaster art form. Class will focus on
Marmorino Classic and
Marmorino Carrara
techniques, as well as tools, preparation, understanding color and its relationship to Venetian Plasters.
Both high polish smooth and distressed finishes will be studied. Discussion of how to tackle room-sized
projects will deal with timing and wet edges, finishing corners, taping, substrate preparation, and how
to seal with soap based waxes or penetrating sealers.
This class is geared toward homeowners and serious do-it-yourselfers and will give you the skills you need
to get started so you can transform your walls into true works of art!

Venetian Plastering II, Stucco Italiano Certification, 3-day Class
The Certification course teaches decorative artistic and plaster finishes during 3 days of
intensive training that covers a variety of application techniques for natural lime plasters. Students
will work hands-on with Stucco Italiano's
Marmorino Carrara,
Marmorino Classic,
Marmorino Velvet,
Intonachino, and
Tadelakt,
and learn the correct methods of application and uses for these plasters.
This class will confer Stucco Italiano Residential Certification on successful completion of the course.
This will enable these graduates to be referred as Certified Installers for Stucco Italiano
specified projects.
