Class: Venetian Plastering 1, The Basics
Homeowners and serious do-it-yourselfers, you have the ability to transform your walls into works of art! Join us for this one-day workshop in Seattle, and you will get the basic skills you need to be on your way to mastering the time-tested art of designer favorite authentic Venetian plaster.
In Venetian Plastering 1, The Basics, those of you with little or no hawk and trowel experience will learn:
- How to apply Marmorino Classic and Carrara, including the tools and preparation you will need.
- How to understand color and its relationship to Venetian plasters.
- How to tackle room-sized projects, including
- dealing with timing and wet edges
- finishing corners
- taping
- substrate preparation
- sealing with soap-based waxes or penetrating sealers
